Blue Lantern

As yet unused band logo.  I figured having sweet art done would incentivize writing music and following through.  This fall it’ll happen.

Jake and I recorded some youth crew songs a while ago, and never really went anywhere with it because of…life, I guess.  When I get back to Richmond I really want to make this happen.  The artwork I had done is so rad it’d be an injustice not to use it.

I’m attempting to work my way through this course in the next 2 weeks so that I don’t ever sound like an idiot to an ER nurse again.  I’m making Dr. Diamond my honorary grandma. 

So this is where I will attempt to document being a dad, becoming a firefighter and a higher quality EMT, and probably lots of stuff about Wolverine and Green Lantern.  I’m a little over a month from beginning the academy and I’m attempting to get into Spartan shape, mentally and physically, so that I can show up ahead of the game.  It’s terrifying because I’ve never even been on a fire truck and I’ve only spent a few months working on an ambulance where we didn’t even run 911 calls.  There’s no way I’m screwing this up.
